“MADEIRA ONE STEP CLOSER TO SLOW TOURISM”
The University of Madeira (UMa) promotes a round-table discussion of the topic “Madeira one step closer to Slow Tourism”, where the latest studies on the “Slow-Tourism” and “E-Tourism” areas shall be presented, an initiative which will take place today, 30 May at 5 P.M., at the Auditorium of the Colégio dos Jesuítas’s Rectory.
This professionals meeting counts on the presence of national and internationally known speakers, among which: Eduardo Fermé, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence expert and Professor at UMa; Josep Francesc Valls Giménez, Professor and coordinator of the Tourism Project and STET; Pedro Costa, General Director of the Quinta-furão Hotel and Roland Bachmaier, CEO of Galo Resort Hotel.
Within this initiative’s scope, a study case on the topic “The New Scenario of the Commercialization of Contemporary Tourism” will be exhibited, followed by the presentation of new e-learning courses launched on the platform of the “STET – Slow Tourism & E-Tourism: prepare to change for the close future” platform, of which UMa is a partner.
