Given the state of calamity currently in force, the authorities continue to request the confinement of the population, as much as possible, so as to contain the spread of COVID-19, despite the situation being controlled. In the case of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, entry into the territory via airports is restricted.
  • At this moment, confinement, if necessary compulsorily, is valid for a period of fourteen days, of all persons and their luggage that disembark at the airports and ports of Madeira and Porto Santo.
The confinement regime will be carried out at each person's home, should they have a home in Madeira or Porto Santo and have tested for COVID-19 disease, in laboratories certified by national or international authorities, within 72 hours prior to disembarkation, and have obtained a negative result.
If you do not have a domicile in Madeira or Porto Santo, confinement is carried out in hotel units stipulated by the regional authorities for this purpose.

  • We advise that contacts be made with the respective airlines, tour operators, or travel agents to adjust returns.
  • The archipelago ports’ and marinas’ are closed.
