“Turma do Funil” was founded in 1988 and is from the municipality of Câmara de Lobos.
On its premiere, at the Madeira Carnival in Funchal, it was the first troupe to present a rigorous and almost professional choreography.
They perform in several municipalities in the region as well as in hotels.
The music themes are originals of the teacher João Atanásio.
