The itinerant exhibition entitled "The Plants in the First Globalization", is part of the program created in the context of the Celebrations of the 600 years of the Discovery of the Islands of Madeira and Porto Santo, in a show open to the public, from March 5 to April 2, at the College dos Jesuítas - University of Madeira.

Organized by the Portuguese Order of Engineers, this bilingual (portuguese and english) exhibit is based on the book "The Adventure of Plants and the Portuguese Discoveries", by the portuguese professor Mr. José Mendes Ferrão.
