April, 29th to May, 23rd
The Flower Festival, will take place from April 29th to May 23rd, is a cultural event associated the local traditions, whether through the performances of folk groups, or through the construction of the beautiful floral carpets, an event filled with lots of entertainment activities, such as music concerts and variety shows.
June,5th,12th,19th and 26th 2021
The Madeira Atlantic Festival, an event that sets the beginning of the summer season in Madeira, is one of the most recent tourist entertainment events.
The 2020 edition was cancelled due to the direct impact of the Corona Virus - COVID 19 pandimic worldwide.
The 2021 edition will be held on June 5th,12th,19th and 26th.
August 29th to September 12th
The Madeira Wine Festival is one of the island´s main tourist attractions that pays tribute to this precious nectar and its undeniable socioeconomic significance, an event programmed from August 29th to September 12th.
September 22nd to 26th
The Columbus Festival is based on a series of tourist entertainment initiatives that portray the time when this famous merchant resided on the island of Porto Santo, recalling his experiences in the Madeira Archipelago.

The 2020 edition of the Nature Festival will not be taking place in the usual manner as in previous years, strictly for sanitary reasons, thus reinforcing the organization of the second edition of the Madeira Outdoor Summit, to take place on the 6th and 7th of November.

The arrival of the decorative lights in the streets of the city centre of Funchal, during the month of December, sets the beginning of the Madeira Christmas and End of the Year Festivities programme.
